New — Clipnote Courses

Record it, and it’s already a lesson.

Everywhere else, building a course means recording in one tool, exporting the file, and uploading it to another. You already record in Clipnote — so skip the middle two steps. Your branding, your domain, and we take 0% of anything you sell.

Included with Pro at $7/month. No separate course-platform bill.

The bit nobody else has

Record straight into a lesson

Press Record this lesson in the outline. Choose your screen, talk, stop. It's in the course, in position, titled — before you've thought about files.

Re-record without the mess

Got a name wrong in lesson 7? Re-record it. Same lesson, same link, same student progress. No re-uploading, no re-ordering.

Your library is your raw material

Every recording you've ever made is a candidate lesson. Pull them in, trim them, group them into modules.

Four steps to a live course

  1. 1

    Name your school

It's the branded home your students land on. Pick colours, type and a logo — or leave the defaults and change them later.

  2. 2

    Build the outline

Modules hold lessons. Drag in recordings you already have, or hit Record this lesson and it drops into place when you stop.

  3. 3

    Decide who gets in

Invite only for a private cohort, free for anyone with the link, or set a price and take payment through your own Stripe.

  4. 4

    Publish

Send the link. Students get a proper classroom with progress tracking, and you see who finished what.

Two very different uses, one builder

Sell a course

Set a price, connect Stripe, send the link. You’re the seller of record — your payouts, your refunds, your customers — and we take nothing. Put it on your own domain so it looks like part of your business, because it is.

Train your team

Onboarding, SOPs, product walkthroughs. Invite-only courses, no payments involved, and a completion list that tells you who has actually watched the compliance module and who has it open in a tab.

Questions people ask

Do I need to upload video files?

No. A lesson points at a recording in your Clipnote library, so recording one is the same thing as making a lesson. If you already have recordings, they're all candidates — pick them from a list.

What happens if I need to re-record a lesson?

Open the lesson, press Re-record, and the new video replaces the old one in place. The lesson keeps its link and every student keeps their progress.

How much do you take from course sales?

Nothing. Payments run through Stripe Connect on your own Stripe account, so you're the seller of record and the money never touches us. You pay Stripe's normal processing fee and that's it.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Point a subdomain like learn.yourbrand.com at us with a CNAME and your classroom serves from there, with your branding and no Clipnote chrome.

Can I use this for internal training instead of selling?

That's what invite-only courses are for. Onboarding, SOPs, product training — same builder, no payments involved, and you can see who's actually completed what.

What do I need to get started?

A Clipnote Pro account at $7 a month. Courses are included — there's no separate course platform bill.

You’ve already recorded half of it

Open Studio, name your school, and pull in the recordings you already have. The first course takes an afternoon.
